Evangelism On Tuesday And Thursday
There wasn't anyone walking by on Thursday. On Thursday morning at Grandy's, I gave a Mancard to a Monroe police officer that I had met several weeks ago. I gave him another one to give to the policeman that was with him. The woman that took my order received a Hoppy Easter tract.
When I went to Walmart after work, I gave a tract to James and a woman that was behind me in line. It is so easy to give out tracts. People will take them most of the time when you are polite and smiling as you talk with them. Have you gave any tracts out today? Someone is waiting!

Monday Evangelism
After work, I gave out three million dollar pesos to Jorge (at the UPS store), Harvey, and Alfredo (at Walmart). I gave a tract to a man that had paid a visit to my pastor on a sales call about a copy machine. We started talking after I gave him the tract. He said that he wasn't a Christian. As we talked, he told me about meeting my pastor. I believe that the Lord had me there at the right time! Time is short! We need to reach out to the lost as much as we can!

Friday Night Evangelism
a million dollar peso to Raul and another man who was at the money center. Ronnie was glad to get a Mancard. He wanted another one to give to a friend. Roy got one, too. My friend, who works at Walmart, asked me about a baby swing battery that a customer was looking at. I gave a trillion dollar bill to her customer and the man that was with him. They were Muslims!
Bro. Day, Bro. JJ, and I started out in front Walmart tonight around 9:30. Bro. JJ preached while we held up a sign and the cross. Before we left, Bro. JJ talked with two women at a bus-stop.
We arrived at the bars about 10:30. One bar wasn't open. We heard them talking as soon as we got there. One woman yelled "Jesus changed me, but I still drink."( Our sign says "Jesus will change your life.) Then she said "We're devil worshippers!" We get the most heckling from this rock bar. Allen was the first one to come talk to us. Bro. JJ took him through the law and explained the gospel to him. He left after Bro. JJ gave him a Are You A Good Person Tract. Drew came over to talk to us next. He didn't have a church background.I talked to him about the law and how one can be saved. He said that he was 18. While we were talking with him, two young women came to talk with us. One seemed upset that that we were there. She said that she was Catholic. She calmed down as we talked with her. I recognized her friend from getting glasses from where I work. They both got a Are You A Good Person tract. Bro Day gave a tract to their friend. Grant came to talk to us before he went in to the Hookin' Bull. He was in the military.I thanked him for his service. He asked why we were there. He told me that we needed to be downtown where the drug dealers were. I told him that God had told us to be there for the night. He said that his grandfather was a great preacher, so he has been around church. He opposed a little at first, but he said that
he wasn't against us. He slipped the Mancard tract in his pocket when I gave it to him. The singer for one of the bands (Electric Sermon) that was playing at the Tsunami came over to talk with us.We talked to him for a while before it was time for his band to play. He asked if we believed that one can sell their soul. He talked about his experiences. He had Alex film us with a digital camera. He also told us that he had talked with the devil; that the devil was inside of him. When his band got up to play, they announced that there was '"Christian protesters" across the street. He proudly said that their first song was about the devil. Please pray for Craig and his band. The last person we talked to was Donnie, who works at the Tsunami. The first time we preached there, he snatched the Bible out of JJ's hands. He offered us water last night! He talked to us about the Torah and judging. Bro. JJ tried to explain Matthew 7 to him. He admitted that we weren't like the Westboro Baptist people from Kansas. We want them to see that we have a good spirit in witnessing and preaching. We want them to see our concern for their souls. Street preachers don't have to be harsh and hard. We need to kind and compassionate toward them that are without. As C. Sumner Wemp said, " We need to knock on the door of every sinner's heart; not shove it down!"
One more thing: As we were leaving the bar parking lot last night, I heard music playing. It was coming from my phone. My phone was locked! It was on the Solid Gospel radio station app. The song that was playing was "Palms of Victory"!

Another Challenge
One who desires to see people come to Christ must have an expectancy that that will meet those who are without Christ. What is your attitude toward the lost? Jesus moved with compassion toward those who were without a shepherd. My pastor defines compassion as "love with action". Are you actively seeking the lost with compassion? Do you anticipate the next opportunity to witness or give someone a tract? Do you pray "
Lord, what would You have me to do?
Where do You want me to go?".
If you are at a crossroad in sharing your faith, ask the Lord to challenge you. Ask Him for boldness to speak to someone about their soul. He is faithful
In helping us to overcome our fears and presuppositions. We can do what He wants us to do in His power and strength! I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13 KJV)
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9 KJV)

Re-Tracting
Yesterday, I went to the Chevron before going home. A woman that works there asked me for a Mancard for her husband and a relative. I also gave one to another man who works there. This tract has been a hit at this store!
Re-tract can also mean to tract again.
Does this make sense? We must carry tracts with us at all times if we are going to be consistent. I don't want to be empty handed the next time someone asks me for a tract. They're watching us to see how faithful we are! Have you done any re-tracting?

Witnessing: This Week In Review
Monday: At Chile Verde, we left a trillion dollar bill for our waiter. I gave a million dollar peso to Marcela. When we went to GameStop to get a DS game for my oldest son, we left two of the You're In Control tract for a game player or employee to read. I left a Hoppy Easter tract on an Easter candy display at Super One. At Walmart, I gave a million dollar peso to Chavez. In the parking lot, I talked with Jonathan while handing him a Mancard.
Tuesday: I ate lunch with my family at McDonald's. I wanted to give a tract to a young man that was sitting close to us. He was leaving the same time we were. I was able to give him a Mancard tract and explain to him what it was about. A lot of times we look at people and think "How can I witness to that one?" One time as we were flying out to California to see my mother-in-law, we had a brief lay over in Salt Lake City. In one of the restaurants, I saw a man that had a pink mohawk. As I prepared to give him a tract, I was sure that he would be rough and tough. He proved me wrong. He took the tract and thanked me!
I had a few minutes to wait for my wife to pick me up after work. I walked to the library to see if I could do some witnessing there. A lot of people in scrubs and medical uniforms were going in. They were having a class or meeting in the back of the library. I gave out 3 Mancards near that entrance. I went to the front where I gave out 2 more. As I gave out the second one, a boy approached me. He said that his uncle wanted one of what I was handing out. I gave the Mancard to the boy and followed him to the vehicle where his uncle was. I told him that I was giving out Gospel tracts. His name is John. I asked him if he was saved. He said that he knew that he needed to get baptized. I told him that baptism didn't save. I also talked to him about repentance. He has no clue what I was giving out. I believe that the Lord had me at the library for a reason! I gave him the Hoppy Easter tract and the Gospel of John with Romans. His nephew got one of each, also.
At the Piccadilly, one of the servers thought I had an American Expess card when she saw the trillion dolllar bills in my pocket. That opened the door to give her and two other servers one. We left a Hoppy Easter tract with the tip for our waitress.
Wednesday: At lunchtime I paid my electric bill at a new business because the one that I had been paying at was no longer participating. At Able Finance, I gave a trillion dollar bill to a customer and the woman that took
my payment. I also had left one at my bank's ATM.
We had jail ministry at Claiborne detention center in Homer on Wednesday night. Bro. JJ, Bro. Day, and I went. We had a great service. A young man named Corey prayed for salvation at the altar call! He seemed sincere. It is refreshing to see a soul respond to the conviction of the Spirit of God! We gave out several tracts to the men. Sometimes the men will take tracts and distribute them to other inmates that don't come to service.
As we were leaving, we spoke to a woman in the front who was checking on her husband or boyfriend. I gave her a trillion dollar bill. She said that it might bring her luck. I gave her an Are You Lucky tract and told her what the tracts were about. Three others took tracts at McDonald's.
Thursday: We went to the Chevron after church. I gave a trillion dollar bill to Gage who had got a Mancard a few weeks back. He showed me where it was punched three times! He had also picked up a Get Out Of Hell Free card that my son had put there one other night. I gave a trillion dollar bill to a woman and her boyfriend. She thought I was giving her money! He was buying beer. I gave him one and a Mancard to go along with it.
Friday: Lunchtime: I had to do my usual routine by taking care of the laundry mat business. As I was leaving, I gave out 5 Are You Lucky tracts to customers. I said "Here's your green for tomorrow. It's a gospel tract."
After work, I had to pick up a few things. As I went through the store, I gave out 5 trillion dollar bills. I said the same to them as I said to the people at the laundry mat. At the register, I gave some tracts to a woman and her son. I pray that they will be encouraged to witness. I gave my last Are You Lucky tract to the man that worked at the register. In the parking lot, I gave 2 young men the Are You A Good Person tracts. Another man received a Hoppy Easter tract. How was your week?
