The Daily Tract Challenge Scavenger Hunt From Bezeugen Ministries

Mark you calendar for Saturday, January 31st! Then get ready to complete as many of the January #DailyTractChallenges as you can in just ONE DAY! That's right - complete as many of the 30 challenges from January in one day and you could win prizes (aka more tracts to hand out).

On Saturday morning a link will be posted on Facebook to download a form listing the 30 #DailyTractChallenges for the month of January. You get one point for each of the challenges you are able to complete on Saturday, January 31st (midnight to midnight).

Prizes:
Anyone who is able to complete 10 of the #DailtyTractChallenges within the 24 hour period will receive 100 Gospel tracts.

The person who completes the most #DailyTractChallenges during the 24 hour period will receive 250 Gospel tracts.

Special Bonus Prize:
Compete against Bezeugen Ministries Social Media coordinater, Scott Thompson, who coordinates the #DailyTractChallenge. If the winner is able to complete more of the challenges in the 24 hour period than Scott does during the 24 hour period then their first place prize will be doubled to 500 Gospel Tracts!

You can review the #DailyTractChallenge postings on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest in advance to have an idea of the challenges you'll be looking for on Saturday.

Are you ready to go share he Gospel?

You must click join on the Facebook event page prior to the event starting in order to participate.

Participants are on their honor to report the actual number of daily tract challenges that they completed during the 24 hour period beginning 12:00 AM on January 31st.

Each challenge may only be completed once during the 24 hours of the scavenger hunt unless that challenge was repeated during the month in which case it can be completed during the scavenger hunt up to the number of times and scored for each time it is completed. (ie, if one of the challenges is to give someone a tract who is wearing a green shirt, you can not give 100 tracts to people wearing green shirts and claim 100 points. However, as an example, the Wild Card challenge to give a tract to a football fan was repeated during the month, so it can be completed twice during the scavenger hunt).

The maximum score is 31 points - one for each of the daily challenges for each of the 31 days in January.

Happy New Year - 2015

Happy New Year! We have many witnessing opportunities waiting for us through this next year. I wanted to re-post my testimony again since it's the anniversary of my accident. I pray that you'll be encouraged by it!

Twenty-two years ago on New Year's Eve, I was involved in the party scene. I thought I was living the good life. I had moved to Shreveport to manage the GNC at Southpark Mall. I had just bought a 1992 Dodge Dakota Sport. I tried to find a picture of one like I had, but the one in the picture above was the closest. It had row bars and a tarp on the bed. I was twenty-three at this time. Before this, I managed the GNC at Pecanland Mall in Monroe, La. I was into working out. I had lost about 65 pounds through exercising and dieting. My friend, John, helped me with all that I was doing. In November, my district manager asked me if I could transfer to the Shreveport store. I eagerly told him that I would. I was wanting to move up in the company. Previously, I had met a young woman at one of the clubs that I went with my friend named Al. We started dating before I moved. She lived in Ruston. When stopped in see her one day as I was going back to West Monroe to visit, she broke up with me. The day before New Year's Eve, she called me to ask us to hold a place for her at the club where we would be at in Monroe. I had something to prove! We all got to the bar that night with partying on our minds. I started drinking mixed drinks. Sometime after midnight, I blacked-out. I remember just bits and pieces of what was to happen after that. I remember walking out to my truck. After that, I remember shutting the passenger door to the truck. Then, I was walking on the other side of the bridge down Trenton Street in West Monroe. Then, I was at the door of Al's apartment. I woke up at 10:00 on New Year's Day. I told Al that we needed to find my truck. I didn't know where it was! We drove around looking for it in West Monroe and Monroe. I finally called The Monroe Police Department to ask I'd they had towed the truck. The woman on the line told me that it had been towed to Master's Auto Service in Monroe. I went to see it there. The hood and front was crushed in the middle. The owner of the towing company told me that I was fortunate to be alive. I had hit a utility pole on the corner of Pine and Walnut, which was several blocks from the club. The police had pulled some of my hair from the windshield where I had hit with my head. I had walked one mile from where I had wrecked. The officer that worked the accident called me at midnight on January the 1st to ask me about what had happened. I lied about what I did, but they knew that I had been drinking. I had to go back to Shreveport without transportation. Over the next several months, I depended on my parents to pick me up and bring my back home on most weekends. I walked to work sometimes and got a taxi at others. One day at work, I was talking with a regular customer about some of our products. She and her husband worked for the Shreveport Police Department. We ended up talking about church and Jesus. She asked where I went to church. I told her that I was trying to go back to church. She said "You're not doing anything! You better come back to Jesus now!"
There had been others who had witnessed to me before, but her words made me think. I didn't write the exact date down, but around March the 15th I repented of my sins, asked for forgiveness, and was saved at Kingston Village Apartments on Kingston Road! What a change! I was born-again! I was washed in the blood of Jesus! told everyone what had happened to me! I couldn't go back to the clubs anymore! I couldn't listen to the same music anymore! I didn't have the desire to drink anymore! I was a changed man! I was able to move back home and get my old job back in April. I started passing out tracts. I went to church whenever I could. I wanted all that the Lord had for me! I wanted to do His will! I met Todd at a revival one night. We passed out tracts at several bars around town. Later, we preached at some of the bars. I was nervous about street preaching, but I was hooked after I did it a few times! I love to tell the story of how the Lord saved me!
I am thankful that I have had an extension on my life. I should have died and went to hell that night of my accident, but I am alive! I am saved!
Have a Happy New Year!

Christmas Tracting 2014

I've been having a great time with tracts this Christmas! I have gave out over 50 bags with tracts and candy, mostly at drive-thrus. I believe that I only had at least one reject. These are places where I've left tracts. The one on the Target buggy is just for the photo. I gave out several tracts there on the Saturday before Christmas

Tract Idea For Christmas

This requires Christmas ziplock bags, candy, and tracts. Fill the bags with candy and at least one tract. Take them to Christmas parades and festivities, These are great to give out to people working at drive-thru windows, also.
I did this last year. I gave out about 50 bags at our local Christmas parade. All items in the photo were purchased at Dollar Tree.

Happy Thanksgiving! - 2014

Praise ye the LORD . O give thanks unto the LORD ; for he is good : for his mercy endureth for ever . Psalms 106:1

One man said that "Thanksgiving is thanks-living!" We should be thankful to The Lord in our everyday living, giving Him the glory and honor that is due to His Name. We can so this, also, by being a witness everyday. I had a great time giving out several Thanksgiving tracts this season. The Give Thanks tract from Bezeugen Ministries was in the tract club for the 2nd year. One Million Tracts has the Turkey Trillion, I've got a few more of them to give out. Let's give thanks by sharing the Gospel with the lost!

The Tractcracker!

My 8 year old son left this one at Walmart onTuesday. There are so many places to leave tracts during the holiday season. Find an unique place to leave a tract today!

Tracts For The Holidays

Are you ready for witnessing throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas? These two holidays offer many opportunities to share our faith! The “Give Thanks” tract is an excellent tract to give out for Thanksgiving. Four tracts were sent out in the December Bezeugen Tract Club. The Legend Of The Candy Cane was put into bookmark form, also, to be used for Christmas. Prayerfully, we can show somebody the real Reason for the season! These tracts can be ordered by going to onemilliontracts.com, click on Bezeugen Gospel Tracts, and scroll down till you find the title of the tract that you want to order. Tis’ the season to keep on giving out tracts!

The State Fair Of Texas Gospel Outreach - Oct. 18, 2014

Bro. Gary, Braylyn (my oldest son), and myself left on Friday to be at the State Fair of Texas Gospel Outreach on Saturday. We had an encouraging time! We gave out and left out tracts on the way to Dallas. The new "What Happens Aftet #Yolo?" tract was taken by several people. Chris took a Thank You tract in Canton when we stopped at a travel center. He recommended a good Mexican restuarant called Carmona's  in Terrell.  That was our next stop. It was good! I gave a Spanish Ten Commandments tract to  Carlos, our server. Juan and two other employees took the What Happens After #Yolo? tract. Also on Terrell, we stopped to meet One Bro. Gary's customers who builds trailers for race cars. We arrived at Arnold's house around 4:30 that evening. Carl Kalbfliesh, his wife Mande, and Brendan met us there for a good time of fellowship and a prayer meeting.

On Saturday, we arrived at the booth around 9:30. We  had a great time of ministry throughout the day. There were so many that took the "million dollar eye test". We had several to repent and put their trust in Jesus. Stdents from the Gospel For Asia School of Discipleship worked the booth with us throughout the day in two hour shifts. They were from all over the country. One student, Grady, was from Australia. Many took tracts all day long. We had some very profiting conversations where seeds were planted. Mary Ann prayed after talking with one of the students. She had been in rehab. She was really broken. Brandon prayed when another student took him through the law. Rafael  and Sandra really listened as Gary witnessed to them. Tristan prayed with Gary, also. He took in everything that was said. I spoke with Jason, who is the son of a preacher. Carlos thought he was going to Heaven without repenting. Adam sai that Jesus didn't mention Heaven. I quoted a few scriptures to show that he did. One man tore up a Ten Commandments tract and threw it on the counter.  Here are few others who we talked to: William, Alex, Evonne, Daniel, Jerry, Diane, and Ricky.

It was great witnessing with Carl, Arnold, and Craig from Bezeugen Ministries. I am so thankful to be a part of the ministry. We can't wait till next year!

Delayed To Meet Demarte

Do you believe that delays could mean that a divine appointment is about to take place? I was delayed from getting off of work on time by two customers this evening. I needed to go to Lifeway before going home. After getting what I needed there, I slipped in to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to get a phone charging cord. Antonio helped me to find one. I gave him a "What happens after #YOLO? tract. I stopped at the Circle K to get gas. When going inside to pay, I got behind Demarte in line. The woman in front of him at the counter couldn't find her debit card. This gave me time to talk with Demarte, who is a high school senior. Take a guess at what tract I gave him. I asked him "What happens after you die?" He said that we don't know. "It's up to 'the Man'. We don't know till we get there." I asked him, "Isn't that gambling?" He agreed. I told him the illustration about the 10 speed limit signs, using Hwy. 165 as the road. Please pray that Demarte repents and puts his trust in Jesus!
