Christmas Tracting 2014
I've been having a great time with tracts this Christmas! I have gave out over 50 bags with tracts and candy, mostly at drive-thrus. I believe that I only had at least one reject. These are places where I've left tracts. The one on the Target buggy is just for the photo. I gave out several tracts there on the Saturday before Christmas

The State Fair Of Texas Gospel Outreach - Oct. 18, 2014
Bro. Gary, Braylyn (my oldest son), and myself left on Friday to be at the State Fair of Texas Gospel Outreach on Saturday. We had an encouraging time! We gave out and left out tracts on the way to Dallas. The new "What Happens Aftet #Yolo?" tract was taken by several people. Chris took a Thank You tract in Canton when we stopped at a travel center. He recommended a good Mexican restuarant called Carmona's in Terrell. That was our next stop. It was good! I gave a Spanish Ten Commandments tract to Carlos, our server. Juan and two other employees took the What Happens After #Yolo? tract. Also on Terrell, we stopped to meet One Bro. Gary's customers who builds trailers for race cars. We arrived at Arnold's house around 4:30 that evening. Carl Kalbfliesh, his wife Mande, and Brendan met us there for a good time of fellowship and a prayer meeting.
On Saturday, we arrived at the booth around 9:30. We had a great time of ministry throughout the day. There were so many that took the "million dollar eye test". We had several to repent and put their trust in Jesus. Stdents from the Gospel For Asia School of Discipleship worked the booth with us throughout the day in two hour shifts. They were from all over the country. One student, Grady, was from Australia. Many took tracts all day long. We had some very profiting conversations where seeds were planted. Mary Ann prayed after talking with one of the students. She had been in rehab. She was really broken. Brandon prayed when another student took him through the law. Rafael and Sandra really listened as Gary witnessed to them. Tristan prayed with Gary, also. He took in everything that was said. I spoke with Jason, who is the son of a preacher. Carlos thought he was going to Heaven without repenting. Adam sai that Jesus didn't mention Heaven. I quoted a few scriptures to show that he did. One man tore up a Ten Commandments tract and threw it on the counter. Here are few others who we talked to: William, Alex, Evonne, Daniel, Jerry, Diane, and Ricky.
It was great witnessing with Carl, Arnold, and Craig from Bezeugen Ministries. I am so thankful to be a part of the ministry. We can't wait till next year!

Delayed To Meet Demarte
Do you believe that delays could mean that a divine appointment is about to take place? I was delayed from getting off of work on time by two customers this evening. I needed to go to Lifeway before going home. After getting what I needed there, I slipped in to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to get a phone charging cord. Antonio helped me to find one. I gave him a "What happens after #YOLO? tract. I stopped at the Circle K to get gas. When going inside to pay, I got behind Demarte in line. The woman in front of him at the counter couldn't find her debit card. This gave me time to talk with Demarte, who is a high school senior. Take a guess at what tract I gave him. I asked him "What happens after you die?" He said that we don't know. "It's up to 'the Man'. We don't know till we get there." I asked him, "Isn't that gambling?" He agreed. I told him the illustration about the 10 speed limit signs, using Hwy. 165 as the road. Please pray that Demarte repents and puts his trust in Jesus!

Door To Door Evangelism - August 23, 2014
We visited Scott and Lisa. Lisa came to church last week with her Uncle David. Scott said that he would come in the morning with Lisa. He is an alcholic. Please pray that he will get saved. We stopped at a few more houses, seeing some of our old neighbors.

The "You're Welcome" Gospel Tract
A short time later someone suggested, “why not a tract for you’re welcome also?” We werepraying about the idea when I had a meeting with two gentlemen with the Texas Alliance for Raceway Ministries (www.txarm.org). They described that their ministry is about servant evangelism. They are there to serve. But they are also there to share the Gospel. As we talked about what partnership the Lord may have for us together, I suggested that we could develop a racing trivia tract as well as a “You’re Welcome” tract that they could hand to people who thank them for their service. Both of these tracts were developed and distributed at the Texas Motor Speedway at an Indy Race the beginning oh June 2014.
With that in mind, we then create a different front for the tract and printed it for use in the Bezeugen Tract Club. The tract will be released to the entire tract club in the September mailing. However due to a mistake that was made it is referenced in the letter for the August mailing but only some of the members of the tract club actually received it in that mailing.
So whether you are serving someone or simply saying “You’re Welcome” after they thank you, may the You’re Welcome tract be used to glorify God and share the Gospel with the lost!

Share A Tract With........
The “Share a Coke” campaign is wanting people to share a coke with someone. As Christians, we share the Gospel everyday. A good way to do this is through Gospel tracts. A tract can be left anywhere for someone to read. A tract can be used to start a conversation with a lost soul. Tracts are ammunition to share the Gospel with anyone…. as you go!

YOLO ... what then?
YOLO - You Only Live Once. This is said by people everyday. It is tweeted with as a hashtag on Twitter (#YOLO). People say it when they have done something because of a wild and free spirit. I have been asking people lately what YOLO means. Most knew what it was. A few didn't. I asked what would happen after you live once. Some said eternity would be next. Others said that they didn't know. I was able to give each one a tract and asked them to think about our conversation. Try this the next time you witness and see what kind of response you get.
Roughly 150,000 people die each day. What if today is your last? “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Based on the Ten Commandments, how will you do? Have you ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Jesus calls hatred murder (Matthew 5:22)! Ever used God’s name carelessly? That is blasphemy and is a very serious offense (Exodus 20:7). If God judges you by this standard, will you be innocent or guilty? Should God send you to Heaven or Hell? God does not want you to go to Hell (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9). Two thousand years ago, God sent His only son Jesus Christ to earth. Jesus being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the Law and then willingly became the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. He died on a cross to pay for your sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death and the devil. God “commands all people everywhere to repent” because “He has set a day when He will judge the world” (Acts 17:30-31). If you repent and believe the Gospel, then God will forgive all your sin and give you eternal life (Mark 1:15, John 3:36). Do it today! www.AfterLifeCatalog.com 80-BEZEUGEN (802-393-8436)

The Story Of The Tetelestai Tract From Bezeugen
This is one of the two new tracts in the August tract club mailing. This is taken from the Bezeugen website.
The Story of the Tetelestai tract
One day, a couple of years, ago I was standing in line at the Chick-Fil-A at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, TX to buy my lunch. While I was standing in line I struck up a conversation with the guy behind me, a young man probably in his mid to late 20′s. As we stood in line we were talking and I learned that he worked in the mall. Eventually, the topic of spiritual things came up. I was explaining that eternal life is a free gift because the penalty has already been paid for our sin. I said, it was as if his lunch had been paid for. I was next up to order. I placed my order and when the cashier, who turned out to be the manager on duty, asked me “is that all” I said, “no, I also want whatever he is getting” and pointed to the young man I was talking with. So that manager looked at him and said, “what would you like?” The young man felt uncomfortable having me, a complete stranger, buy him lunch and refused to order. But the manager, who had been hearing the conversation, said, “I can’t close out this ticket until you place your order.”
So finally he placed his order.
What happened next amazed us both!
As I was expecting the manager to tell me the total for the order instead he said, “I’ve taken care of it for you both.” WOW! What an awesome demonstration. The young man was deeply impacted. When I walked by the kiosk where he worked a little later he told me that he had called his wife and shared with her what an awesome thing had happened. There are many ways to make the connection to something that has been paid in full. Start in the natural realm with things that people think about being paid. Or use a real world demo like described above. You can pay for someones coffee, gas for their car, groceries, etc. You can even pay for the car behind you at the drive thru and then hand two tracts to the cashier. Ask them to give one to the people in the next car along with their food and let the tract explain that their food has been “paid in full” just like their sin!
The week before Thanksgiving (2013) a friend and member of the tract club called me and suggested the idea for this tract. He described the whole thing in a voice message. Seemed like a great idea and it tied in nicely with the things that we have done to use the analogy. Then a couple days later another friend called left a message and said, “I’d like to talk to talk with you about an idea for a tract.” When I called him back the idea he shared was the same idea of a tract to hand to someone to let them know a bill had been paid in full. Isn’t it amazing how God uses multiple people to share an idea. Prompting each of us in our own way shows that He is at work in the midst of it. So we continued praying, had more discussion and this tract is the result of all of these things.

Fireworks Evangelism - Monroe, La. - July 5, 2014
We had a great time at the local firework show. We had a team of 6 which included my 14 year old son, Bro. Gary, Bro. Garan, Bro. Charles, and his daughter. We were able to give out around 1900 tracts. I gave tracts to people who have taken them from me @ Walmart. I also saw Chris, who was dressed like a woman when we gave a tract to him on a street ministry night. I gave him and his two friends the Are You A Good American? tract. Bro. Charles and his daughter crossed the bridge to work the other levy. Most people took the tracts. We only had a handful of rejects. Several who had been drinking took tracts. On the way back to our vehicles, a train had stopped. This gave us opportunity to give out a few more until the train started moving again. What a way to end the holiday weekend!

Friday Night Witnessing - June 13, 2014
We had an interesting time on street ministry last night. We arrived at the bar a little after 10:00. A few tracts were rejected at first. Bro. Charles and I took a shift each with the cross. I had put the name of Jesus on the front. The business manager came out and talked with us without incident. Bro. Gary talked with a taxi driver for a few minutes. I talked to a young man that had played a set at the bar. He said that he played in clubs and played in church on Sunday as a hired musician. He obviously isn't in it for ministry, but for the money. While Bro. JJ was preaching, the bar manager approached us. He said that he didn't want us yelling at his customers. He called the police. This is the first time that the police have been called at this bar. Six police showed up to handle the complaint. They said that we were on private property across from the bar. We have always understood that we had about a three foot right away near the street. We will check out every thing before we go back. We also will record what we say next time in case they falsely accuse us for saying something that we didn't. We aren't like the "shock and awe" guys who get rough with the people. The police stayed for thirty minutes after they talked with us. I gave out 5 or 6 tracts while they were there. Prayerfully, we will have more one on ones next time. Next month, we are gong to the local Fourth of July Fireworks display. This is mainly a tract event with one on ones.
Happy Flag Day!

A Love For Souls!
This is an exert from "How To Bring Men To Christ" by R. A. Torrey:
But how is one to get a love for souls? This question is easily answered. First of all a love for souls like very other grace of Chris- tian character is the work of the Holy Spirit. If then we are conscious that we do not have that love for souls that we should have, the first thing to do is to go to God and humbly confess this lack in our lives and ask Him by His Hol y Spirit to supply that which we so sorely need and expect Him to do it (i. Jno. V. 14, I5i Phil. iv. 19). In the second place Jesus Christ had an intense love tor souls (Matt, xsiii. 37; Luke xix. 10), and intimate and constant companionship with Him will impart to our lives this grace hich was so prominent in His. In the third place feelings are the outcome of thoughts. If we desire any given feeling in our lives we should dwell upon the thoughts which are adapted to produce that feeling. If any saved person will dwell upon the peril and wretchedness of any man out of Christ and the worth of his soul in God's sight as seen in the death of God's Son to save him, a feeling of intense desire for that man's salvation is almost certain to follow. In the fourth place, reflection upon our own ruined and unhappy condition without Christ and the great sacrifice that Christ made to save us, is sure to fill our hearts with a desire to bring others to the Saviour that we have found.

May The Lord Be With You! Saturday Witnessing
I heard that tomorrow is Star War's Day, so I gave out a few Star War's millions from Gospel Tract Planet. Chris took one at Ross. We went to Petco to get an item for our new puppy that we are getting tomorrow. Quinn and Dravin, two employees, took one there. At Walmart, a man who was asking for money at the front took one. He said that he was saved, but I think he was using that as part of his presentation. Several others took them inside and out in the parking lot.
So many need the Gospel! The hour is urgent! Let's pray for workers for the harvest and the fields of the harvest! May The Lord be with you!Have you ever tested your "Dark Side?" Everyone has a Dark Side, but most people have no idea how dark it is. Let's take a look at yours... Have you ever lied, stolen (regardless of value), or looked with lust? Jesus said "whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Guilt results in an eternal Hell because God is Holy.
Imagine a man in a courtroom; a criminal guilty of serious crimes. He is tried, convicted, and sentenced to life or a fine of a MILLION DOLLARS. when the judge steps down and pays his fine! Even though he's still guilty, his fine has been paid and justice has been satisfied! The judge was both merciful and just. This is what Jesus did for sinners. While fully God and fully man, Jesus lived a sinless life. In love He took the wrath of God and penalty for sin on Himself on the Cross. Then He rose from the grave, showing the penalty paid.
What should you do? God commands you to repent and trust in Jesus ALONE. Don't trust in "good works." Cry out to God for mercy and put your faith in Jesus, confessing and forsaking sins. God will change your heart so you will desire Holiness. Make peace with God today; you may not have tomorrow. Eternity is worth much more than a MILLION DOLLARS!

Monday Night Witnessing
We were at Walmart tonight when our shifting cable broke in our van. Our friend from church, who is a mechanic, came to our rescue to give it a temporary fix. As we were going back into Walmart to get a few groceries, I saw two Mormon elders who were leaving. I approached them as they were going to their bikes. I recognized Elder Bloodworth, who I gave a Hoppy Easter tract to at McDonald's before Easter. He remembered me. Elder Mobley was the name of the other. I presented them both with a Spurgeon Million from Gospel Tract Planet. I told them that I was an evangelical Christian; that the tract presented the law and the gospel. I also told them that we did street ministry. We didn't debate doctrine or get into an argument. Please pray that's these two men will receive the truth and get born again!
In Walmart, I gave out several tracts. We ran into a man who I met there a while back. I told him what happened with the Mormons. He was well versed amount Mormon teachings and has witnessed to some. I gave him an invitation to join the Bezeugen Tract Club. A dentist, who I know, came up while we were talking. Later, he asked what we were doing. I was able to gib him a million dollar bill, too. He is Catholic, but he goes to a Church of Christ Bible study.
Afterwards, we went to Taco Bell. I gave Alfred a ManCard. He said that he was a Christian and that he was going through a divorce after 21 years of marriage. I said a quick prayer for him and his wife there. I also gave millions to several employees. As we were leaving, I gave a tract to a Buddhist college student named Sanjae. He is from Nepal. He said that there were Muslims, Buddhist, Hindus, and Christians there. Please pray that he will be saved through reading the tract. How did you do in witnessing today?

The Hoppy Easter Tract
Easter is coming! This season presents opportunities to witness about the resurrection. The "Hoppy Easter" tract is one of my favorites to use. It can be ordered through onemilliontracts.com by going to the Bezeugen tracts - http://www.shop.onemilliontracts.com/Bezeugen-Gospel-Tracts_c28.htm
. Here is what the tract says on the back:
It's not a misprint. It really says "Hoppy Easter" Why? At Easter time many people decorate eggs and hunt for them. Others stand in line at the mall to see the Easter bunny. Yet, Easter is not about eggs and bunnies. The true message of Easter is that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Christ had to die to pay for the sins of the whole world. Let's see if you needed him to die for you. The Bible says that it is appointed once to die and then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Christ calls hatred murder (Matthew 5:21). That's just three of the Ten Commandments. Would you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Because God is just, there must be a payment for your sin. Either you can pay by spending eternity in Hell or you can receive, by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ the free gift that God has for you (Mark 1:15, Ephesians 2:8-9). Instead of "Hoppy Easter", repent of your sin and put your trust in Jesus Christ. He will grant you eternal life. Happy Easter!
