Mardi Gras Parade Outreach Report - February 3, 2018

We had a great time at the Mardi Gras parade on Saturday night. Bro. Shamgar, Bro JJ, Braylyn, Haden, Jacob, and myaelfb gave out around 750 - 800 tracts. Most people took them. The children went crazy over the Minion millions. Two young men burned Seinfeld millions on their grill. I said “Those are Gospel Tracts.” One said “O, Give me another one.” I don’t think he was serious. Their friend had crumbled one. I spoke with Todd who was drunk. One man showed me a million that someone gave him at his job.I gave out four Spanish millions. One man said that his friend needed to give his life to the Lord. I started a conversation with him, but he wasn’t very interested. Please pray for the seeds that were sown!

Wednesday Night Witnessing

After work, I stopped at Taco Bell to get dinner for my three children. Lakimberly, the cashier, took the Yolo tract. When I told her that it was a Gospel tract, she said "I need this. I'm going to read it on my break." While my wife grocery shopped at Walmart, I gave out several tracts and talked to a few people. I talked with Lance, who is a tattoo artist. When he saw the Yolo tract, he said that he got one at the Mardi Gras parade two years ago. He was with his girlfriend, Danielle. Jason said that he hoped to go to Heaven when I gave him the Yolo tract. In the back of the store on the grocery store, I talked with Sean when I gave him the iPhone tract. I asked him if he was military. He said that he was. I asked if he went to church. He said that he does his own thing. I gave him a million dollar bill, also. I met Joe, who was wearing a Vietnam veteran hat. He said that his mother told him that God was going to bring him home. He wasn't saved when he went to Vietnam, but he is now. Another Joe said that he had got a Camo Card tract at the gas pumps before. He said that he was a believer. Mike and Juan took Yolo tracts in the meat section. Glen and Malek took Yolo tracts. Glen said that he is going to the skating rink when he dies. Duke took a Yolo tract when he was looking at the sport drinks. Makela, the cashier, and Malcolm, took the Human Heart tract. 2 others took the Yolo tract as they were going in.

Are You Lucky?

The Are You Lucky? tracts are great for St. Patrick's Day. I gave a stack to Starbucks employee at the window to give out to his co-workers today. These are good conversation starters. I say "Here's a Gospel tract for St. Patrick's Day". Everyone has took one. They are good to leave on St. Patrick's Day displays or in the greeting card section of a store. There are parades taking place where some are giving these out. Unfortunately there is not a St. Patrick's Day parade around here! Take advantage of witnessing opportunities for
this day!

Saturday Witnessing - Feb.13, 2016

I had a great day of witnessing by giving out tracts at the mall, Super One, and Walmart. I met today's #DailyTractChallenge at Super One by giving out 5 tracts in the flower section. I gave out several of the May The Lord Be With You tracts and Yolo tracts in Burlingtons. I slipped  a few May The Lord Be With You tracts into Star Wars bags there. I met Hosea when I gave him a tract. He says that his father-in-law is starting a Spanish church in a nearby city. He knows a minister that I know. I took my wife to Olive Garden where I gave a Thank You tract to Mario, our server. It was busy at Walmart with everyone buying for Valentine's Day. I probably gave out 15-20 tracts there. John took the Camo Card in electronics. He was wearing a camo shirt.  On the grocery side, I gave a tract to Daniel and his friend. Daniel asked if it was about church. I told him that I was a domestic missionary and that I did this everywhere I go. He said that he was going to Heaven. He didn't know what to say when I asked how he was going to get into Heaven when he stood before God. He said that he didn't know. Then, in the clothes section, I gave a  Yolo tract to Danny.

Mardi Gras Parade Outreach - Jan. 30, 2016

We had a great time of evangelism at the Mardi Gras parade in Monroe this evening. Bro. Charles McGuire, my two sons, and myself gave out around 2000 tracts from 4:30 to 6:30. We saw several people that we knew. We had a few rejects. One man said "We go to church, but we don't believe like y'all do." A woman who Bro. Charles gave a Yolo tract to said that she had got one last year. Bro. Charles was wearing his Vietnam vet hat which opened up conversations for him and several people thanking him for his service. My highlight conversation was with Alex and Eric who were students from Turkey. Eric said that he wanted to shake my hand for what we were doing. He said that his friends would be angry, but he liked the way we were witnessing. I told him and Alex an illustration from Hell's Best Kept Secret by Ray Comfort. Please pray for fruit to come from what was done!

The Benefits of Handing Out Gospel Tracts by Geoffrey Kirkland

The Benefits of Handing Out Gospel Tracts.

Geoffrey R. Kirkland
Christ Fellowship Bible Church

The Word of God reminds believers to always be ready to give a defense for the faith (1 Pet 3:15). Christians long for the unsaved to hear the gospel and to be converted. The gospel of God’s saving grace revealed in Christ goes forth in a myriad of ways. But one such way in which believers can proclaim the gospel and evangelize the lost is through the distribution of gospel tracts. A gospel tract is a printed piece of literature that presents the biblical gospel of Jesus Christ and calls the sinner to repent of sin, trust in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life, and to follow Him.

In this short write-up, I endeavor to present some reasons why Christians should hand out gospel tracts. That is to say, there are many benefits in the handing out of gospel tracts. I will list fifteen of them.

1. A good gospel tract faithfully proclaims the biblical gospel.
A good gospel tract is a piece of literature that faithfully presents the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. It will present man and his sin condition and urgent need for divine grace to rescue him from eternal punishment. It will show forth the person and work of Jesus Christ, His substitutionary work on the cross, and His bodily resurrection from the dead. It will call the sinner to repent of sin, trust in Christ alone, forsake all self-righteousness and follow Christ alone for salvation! Thus, a faithful gospel tract presents the gospel in print and imparts the gospel to people to take with them wherever they go.

2. A gospel tract can go places that you can't go. In the absolute sovereignty of God and in the glorious providence of God, gospel tracts end up in places that we just can’t go. Sometimes they end up in bathrooms, on an employee’s desk, even in a trash can in an office, or in a box of goods that someone purchases and finds when they get home and open that box. Gospel tracts are small and they travel where we often can’t. We can’t travel with people and go from person to person, but tracts can, and they often do. And God sovereignly uses this for His glory.

3. A gospel tract can clearly present the gospel in a cogent way. A well-written gospel tract is a concise and cogent presentation of the gospel that people can read. Sometimes we may forget a Bible verse or not quite remember the exact quotation of a text but a gospel tract never gets nervous and forgets what to say. It has one message and one purpose: to present the gospel in a clear, compelling, cogent and concise manner. And this, a good gospel tract always does!

4. A gospel tract doesn't take much effort to pass out. Going on missions trips around the world can take a tremendous deal of effort in preparation and traveling (and rightly so!). Gospel tracts don’t take much effort to pass out. They are small, simple, easy to distribute and anyone can hand it out. A small child can hand out a gospel tract and a bedridden person in a hospital can distribute it.  Almost anyone can hand out a gospel tract!

5. A gospel tract is often politely received by people (or, politely rejected). There is not anything too offensive about handing someone a piece of paper and often people will accept it. But if not, typically they will kindly refuse. Even still, it’s a diligent, faithful, and wise way to get the biblical gospel into people’s hands.

6. A gospel tract can find its way into people's homes when we can't. Someone may receive a gospel tract and put it in their purse or their pocket. Then, when they arrive home that night or perhaps the next morning they may find it and read it. We can’t proclaim the gospel in all the homes of the people that we see, but we can give out gospel literature that people can receive and perhaps they’ll find it and read it when they get home.

7. A gospel tract doesn't argue; it merely states the Truth & calls the reader to repent & believe.
Quite simply, gospel tracts don’t share truth. They proclaim truth! They don’t argue. They announce the gospel! If people object to the gospel, the tract doesn’t argue, get rattled, veer off course or engage in silly arguments. Rather, the tract sticks to its message and continues to give gospel truth and to urge sinners to repent!

8. A gospel tract can be handed to anyone, at any place, at any time, with a smile. Anyone can distribute gospel tracts. The youngest of children to the eldest of adults and nearly everyone in between can take a piece of paper and hand it out to others. One can hand it out in a grocery store, to a cashier, to a stranger, to a passer-by, to someone sitting on a bench, to a law-enforcement officer, to someone in need, to a co-worker, to someone walking in a park, or an endless myriad of other possibilities. And, Christians can have a smile of warmth and a smile of brotherly-love in handing out the greatest message ever given to man to sinners in need of grace!

9. A gospel tract can allow the reader to refer to it again for Bible references and follow up. A good gospel tract has Scripture references and proves what it says with the Bible. Someone, then, can look up Scriptures that are printed on the gospel tract. And furthermore, ideally, a gospel tract would list a church or a ministry where a person could attend or contact for follow-up. It is simply stated so that follow-up can be had.

10. A gospel tract can be used by God to convert the lost and encourage the redeemed. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. The power is in the message. This message on a piece of paper can be used by God to convert a dead sinner’s soul or, perhaps, God may use the tract to encourage believers in the faith. Perhaps it may stimulate other Christians to get some tracts so that they themselves may proclaim the gospel!

11. A gospel tract sticks to the point and never gets sidetracked with silly arguments. The gospel tract that a Christian hands out does not get deterred by foolish arguments and endless speculations. It always sticks to the point because its message does not change. It presents the gospel and it keeps presenting that same gospel.

12. A gospel tract might be read by a person too arrogant to talk but too curious to let the literature pass him by. Perhaps someone with friends may be unwilling, or too arrogant/self-righteous, to talk with a Christian about eternal matters. But they may receive a piece of paper which they may read later on their own time. Perhaps someone next to them may be curious to see what a friend received that they’ll stick out their hand to receive the piece of paper so they don’t feel left out. Those who observe Christians handing out literature may be unwilling to talk (in public) but they may be too curious simply to feel ‘left out’. And so, they may receive one.

13. A gospel tract may be providentially used by God at the right time to sow gospel seeds in someone's soul. The harvest is plentiful, Jesus said. He also asserted that the laborers are few. Believers sow gospel seeds and some plant seeds, some water those seeds, and some see the sinner converted by God’s grace. But it always is God who produces the growth. But God uses His Word at the right time to sow gospel seeds in people’s hearts.

14. A gospel tract is a loving way to present the gospel to sinners in need of salvation from God's judgment. There really is nothing all that confrontational about handing out a pamphlet to another person. No one forces it upon another. It’s a simple, loving, compassionate, brotherly, and kind thing to do. It can be very warm and affectionate especially when the Christian may give a short statement when handing the tract to another: “Here, my friend, did you receive this yet? It changed my whole life! And I want you to have it!”

15. A gospel tract is an easy way to proclaim the gospel with a smile of brotherly love toward your neighbor. The gospel can be proclaimed with urgency, with passion, with fidelity and with earnestness and yet with a gentle, compassionate smile of brotherly-love. A friend can hand a gospel tract to a co-worker with a smile and express his loving care for his friend. A neighbor can hand out a gospel tract to someone living next door and verbalize his appreciation of him. And endless other possibilities may exist. So then, by handing out a tract a Christian engages in the proclamation of the gospel in a simple, easy, fervent, faithful, and loving manner.

“When preaching and private talk are not available, you need to have a tract ready. . . Get good striking tracts, or none at all. But a touching gospel tract may be the seed of eternal life. Therefore, do not go out without your tracts.”
    — Charles Spurgeon

“The very first service which my youthful heart rendered to Christ was the placing of tracts in envelopes, and then sealing them up, that I might send them… I used to write texts on little scraps of paper, and drop them anywhere, that some poor creatures might pick them up, and receive them as messages of mercy to their souls.”
    — Charles Spurgeon

Texas Rangers Outreach Report - May 2, 2015

We had a great time at the Texas Rangers Outreach on Saturday, May 2. 20 Gospel For Asia students, Carl Kalbfleisch, Arnold Morales, Jeremy Roten, Donnie Lucky, my two sons, and myself attended this event to give out around 6,000 tracts. We were planning on open air preaching, but there was a guy planning the saxophone on the corner in front of the Arlington stadium. We were content with getting the tracts out. We used 3 different Baseball Trivia tracts, the Play By The Rules tract, and a few others. Jeremy had a great conversation with a young man named Javon. We had several rejects, but that's to be expected. Please pray for those who took the tracts.

The Monroe - West Monroe Mardi Gras Parade - February 7, 2015

We had a great night of giving out tracts at the Monroe-West Monroe Mardi Gras parade. Bro. Charles, Bro. Lance, Braylyn (my oldest son), and I were present for this event. Last year we gave out around 1500 tracts. This year was around 1700 - 1800. The parade was to start at 6pm. We began at 4:15pm. We mainly used the "What Happens After #YOLO?" tract from Bezeugen ministries. It was well received with only a few people rejecting tracts. One woman said that she had already received a YOLO tract somewhere else! A lot of young people said "YOLO" when they saw the tract. Bro, Lance and Bro. Charles walked down one side of Louisville, Ave. while Braylyn and I took the other. We were out there for about 2 1/2 hours. I saw Earl, whose wedding I was best man in. He was  with another friend who I know from my party days. I saw several other people that I knew and a few customers from the optical that I work at. Bro. Charles and Bro. Lance talked with a Mormon. We talked with Brandon, who was drunk. At first, he gave the tract back. Then, he took it back and put it in his wallet. I took Jacob through three of the commandments. He admitted his guilt, but holds to the idea that therd are many ways to Heaven. Steve told me that he was Catholic and followed rules. He took the tract that Chris rejected. Chris appreciated me talking with him, but said that he wasn't changing. I was able to give out 5 of the Spanish YOLO tracts. This is one of our largest events of each year.  Please pray for the seeds that were sown!

The "You're Welcome" Gospel Tract

You could probably say this is something like a “third generation tract.” Let me explain. For several years we had wanted to create a Gospel tract for Thanksgiving. We released the Give Thanks tract in the November mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club. Shortly after releasing that tract, someone commented on one of our BLOG posts suggesting a Thank You tract. We prayed about the idea and earlier in 2014 released the Thank You tract. That tract has been very well received.

A short time later someone suggested, “why not a tract for you’re welcome also?” We wereYoure Welcome txarm Frontpraying about the idea when I had a meeting with two gentlemen with the Texas Alliance for Raceway Ministries (www.txarm.org). They described that their ministry is about servant evangelism. They are there to serve. But they are also there to share the Gospel. As we talked about what partnership the Lord may have for us together, I suggested that we could develop a racing trivia tract as well as a “You’re Welcome” tract that they could hand to people who thank them for their service. Both of these tracts were developed and distributed at the Texas Motor Speedway at an Indy Race the beginning oh June 2014.

With that in mind, we then create a different front for the tract and printed it for use in the Bezeugen Tract Club. The tract will be released to the entire tract club in the September mailing. However due to a mistake that was made it is referenced in the letter for the August mailing but only some of the members of the tract club actually received it in that mailing.

So whether you are serving someone or simply saying “You’re Welcome” after they thank you, may the You’re Welcome tract be used to glorify God and share the Gospel with the lost!

This tract and many others can be ordered through One Million Tracts by going to the Bezeugen Gospel Tracts @ onemilliontracts.com

New Tract Holder At A Laundry Mat

I've got several tract holders and baskets at three laundry mats and one convenience store. I went to restock at the West Monroe location a few weeks ago, but it was gone. I got another one at Office Depot on Thursday. I put tracts in it and placed it there on Saturday. The tracts get taken! Pray that no one will take the holder!

Mardi Gras Parade Outreach - February 15, 2014

We had a great time last night, giving out 1500 tracts in 2 hours. Bro. Charles, Bro. Donnie, and I only went 1/2 of a mile during this time. Bro. Gary showed up at the end to give out a few. He had been on a Valentine date with his bride. I went on one side of the road while Bro. Charles and Bro. Donnie hit the other. There were people everywhere! Some were tailgating. Others were cooking out in front of their campers. Some were just waiting with their families for the parade to start. Dorian was the first one to get a tract. I gave him the "On a scale of 0 - 10" tract. He said 0. The 2nd man who I offered a tract to said "Don't need it! I'm an atheist." I said "Ok" and got back to tracting. There were so many responses. I only had two rejects for the night. Everyone else took the tracts. I was able to give 9 tracts to Hindus. I talked to one man named Varoon. Hosea asked me to pray for him after I talked with Chris, Charles, and him. When I offered a tract to a man named Michael, he said " If it has to do with religion, I don't want it" This opened the door for a good conversation. I was able to take him through the good person test. He took a tract at the end of our talk. Paula said "9" when I gave her the "On a scale of 0 - 10". She asked for me to put her on our prayer list because she was in need of a kidney. I also gave a tract to her daughter, Amethyst. Several people that were drunk took tracts. I pray that they read them when they sobered up. I showed a free people the new tract app from Living Waters. I received one of the tracts for that app in the mail on Friday. Carol said that she wasn't a Christian after taking a tract. I ran into several people that I know. One woman recognized me from my work place. As I gave tracts to some of the families, their children would reach out to take one. I keep a wallet full of tracts and cards in my front pocket. It fell out of my pocket when we were walking back to our vehicles before the parade started. Three people pointed out that in had lost it. I picked it up and gave them tracts. I hope that we can get more tracts out at next year's parade. Please pray for the seeds to bloom into salvation for those who received them!

State Fair Of Texas Gospel Outreach - Oct. 19, 2013

We had a great time of evangelism at the Texas State fair this past Saturday. The Texas State Fair ran from September 27 to October 20.  This is the largest state fair in the country, attracting 3.5 million people annually. The Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship In America sponsors the State Fair Of Texas Gospel Outreach booth. It is manned every day that the fair is open, with witnessing going on 12 hours a day. Rex Whitton is the manager of this outreach. He trains those who are not familiar with the Gospel presentation portion of the booth. Carl Kalbfleisch of Bezeugen Ministries (the As You Go Blog and the Bezeugen Tract Club) invited me to join him for this day several months ago. He was the day leader. Rosie, Craig, and Arnold were there witnessing and giving out tracts. We also had about 30 students from the Gospel Of Asia School of Discipleship take turns in two hour intervals. It was great meeting all of these who were at the booth. We gave out the "Name 10 Things Fried At The Fair" and "The Ten Commandment" tracts from Bezeugen. We also had the million, the trillion, and the Ten Commandments coin from Living Waters that were supplied at the booth.

Pictured: Rex Whitton, Carl Kalbfleisch, and Scott Thompson

The Million Dollar Eye Test

We would invite people to come and take "The Million Dollar Eye Test". Here is an example (taken from the Bezeugen blog) of what would take place once someone would want to take the test:

"Would you like to take the million dollar eye test?"

them: "Sure, what do I do"

We would keep the conversation really light hearted by saying things like "the use of your eyes is not required" or "it's fun, it's easy, no coupons required!" This was funny because at the fair you trade in your hard earned cash for coupons and then use the coupons to buy food from the vendors, ride rides, etc.

me: "For one million dollars would you give us your right eye? Before you answer let me explain that in this hypothetical example we have a surgical center right behind the booth. We can painlessly remove your eye and replace it with a glass eye. You'll look the same in all your family photo's. You just won't look the same."

them: "No way!"

me: "Oh, ok. Well, let's sweeten the pot just a bit. You see, actually we are looking for a matched pair of eyeballs. And therefore we are able to offer you one trillion dollars for both of your eyes. You could travel the world!"

them: "Yeah, but I'd be blind. so no."

At this point we could quote Jesus' words to them "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world (or a trillion dollars) yet loose his very own soul?" We have established that their eyes are valuable and that their soul is worth even more.

Then, we would ask "If God would require your soul tonight, where would you go? We would proceed to take them through the Ten Commandments to get them to think about their soul. Then, we would tell them what Jesus did so that we wouldn't have to go to hell. We had so many different responses. My highlights were talking with a young man named Richard and another named Arturo. A young woman named Blair said that she had a Jewish heritage. One of the Gospel For Asia students had a man leave when they got to the part about the soul. He said that the soul didn't exist. Jason, who had worked at the booth one year, gave me a test by seeing how knowledgeable I was. Then, he told me who he was. Some said that they were saved.

It was estimated that about 200,000 people came through the fair that day. We probably gave out about 7,500 tracts.

This was about 11:00 AM.

This was around 1:00 PM. It was like this most of the day! At one point when we were handing out the tracts, we were pinned against the front of the booth!

It was a great day! I was glad to be part of what took place on Saturday! I am so thankful to Carl and Rex for letting me be a part of this outreach. Only eternity will tell what was accomplished throughout the State Fair Of Texas Gospel Outreach!

Mardi Gras Parade - West Monroe, La. - Feb. 2, 2013

I haven't had time to post about this until now. We just finished a three week revival where people received help from the Lord . I met up with Bro. JT and Bro. Gary around 5:30 on this Sat. evening on the West Monroe side where it started. They had already witnessed to a man by the name of Mike. Before going to the parade, a woman came toward us that was stumbling. She had been drinking already. We gave her a couple of tracts to read later. She asked us where the levy was. We told her to go up the street and turn left , but she kept going straight into a bad area of town. We called the police to let them know.
We met Bro. Charles before the parade began. People were partying at a couple of bars that were near the parade route. This is not as big as the parade in New Orleans, but it grows every year. We got to give out several tracts before it began.
The parade lasted for about an hour and a half. We stood on a corner where people were continually moving. I saw several people that I knew from West Monroe and school. We gave out about 600 - 700 tracts and coins. Please pray that souls will be saved through these efforts.

Ark-La-Miss Fair 2012

We went to the fair Friday night to pass out around 300 or more tracts and about 75 Gospel coins. Bro. JJ, Bro. Jonathan, and I were there for this event. There was a steady flow of people going in and out. Most took the tracts with a few rejects. We had two signs with us, but only used them for a short period. I got to talk to 3 Spanish men that said that they weren't Christians. There names are Manuel, Javier, and Armando. They took the Spanish Gospel coins. Giving out the million dollar bill, a young man asked if I was famous. He wanted me to sign one if I was! I told him that I was a Christian. Many young people took the Get Out Of Hell Free and the Great Pumpkin tracts. About 60 million dollar bill tracts from Living Waters were taken, also. Bro Jonathan gave out most of his Bezeugen Tract Club tracts. One woman asked Bro. JJ about our church. We also saw the McGuffee family who were working at the Creation presentation in the fair. Bro. McGuffee pastors Ambassador Baptist in Monroe. The Creation presentation is done every year by Bro. Jerry and others like the McGuffee family. They present the story of Creation and hand out Gospel tracts, too. As we were leaving, we gave 5 Back From The Dead chick tracts to some who were waiting on a corner.
The highlight of the night was when we talked to Chavelle (not sure if that is spelled correct) and Deon. We were almost to the vehicle when we saw them walking our way. Chavelle said that she was a cancer survivor. She had cancer when she was 17 months old. She expressed that she wanted to get back in church. Deon said that he was a homosexual. He did go to with his family. I talked to him about the born again experience and how God changes lives. Then I took him through 3 of the Ten Commandments. Bro. JJ talked to him about the heart and the new creation in Jesus. They both took a Bible Belt tract. Please pray for these precious souls to experience the wonderful salvation that we have in Jesus Christ!

Monday Witnessing - 9/24/2012

This morning: I stopped at the Circle K where "Mrs. Nita" works (This is on her name tag). She has told us hat she reads the tracts that we leave in the store. I have brought her new tracts lately. She wasn't working today, so I gave her co-worker a Gospel coin to give to her when she gets back to work. I also gave one to both of her co-workers. I gave one to a man as he was leaving. I placed The Biggest Gamble tract on the lottery display. As I was leaving, I spoke with a man that was pumping gas. He said that he was saved. He is a firefighter that has worked with a couple
of men that I know. I saw a Spanish couple that had stopped for gas. I gave a Spanish Gospel coin to the man and asked him to give one to his wife.
At the NowSave by the I-20, I gave Gospel coins to Lloyd, Lavelle, and Ricardo. Ricardo came back in the store to ask for coins for his mother and girlfriend!
Super One was the spot for lunch. I talked to two Spanish men at the deli. I gave Antonio a Spanish coin. Anyo took one in English.
I went to Walmart after work. I gave a coin to an employee that had got a tract before. As I was going in, I gave a coin to a man that was smoking. Duane took one in the foyer. I spoke with a man at the pharmacy while we were waiting in line. I gave him and the man that was with him a million dollar bill. He said that he went to a local church. Alberto, Eswaldo, Victor, and his friend took Spanish gospel coins. After checking out, i noticed two men at the coin counting machine. I gave a coin to the man that was using the counter. The man that was waiting took one, too. I recognized him from when I had witnessed to him several months ago at the checkout. His name is Sylvester. I gave a million dollar bill to a man that was talking to John, who is the door greeter(and a Christian). Then, Clifford(who I have been praying for), got a coin, a million, and the Mitsake tract that is written by Tony Miano. Taylor, his co- worker got another million and the Mitsake tract. I spoke with Robert in the parking lot. I gave a million and asked if he knew where he was going when he died. He said that he hoped he was going to Heaven. He admitted that he was doing better than he was about 15 years ago. I also gave him The Bible Belt tract.
Two young men received Gospel coins at the gas pumps. Please pray that these seeds will take root and grow that these dear souls will be saved!

Monday and Tuesday Evangelism

Monday- I picked up lunch at the Golden Pier Restaurant where Fernando gave me my order. As we talked in Spanish, I gave him a Trivia Del Futbol tract.
Tuesday- I gave a tract to Kioke who was walking in front of my work place. He remembered when I gave him one a few months ago. Leaving the Dollar Tree, I gave Mitchell the How Much Would Bet tract. He said that he wasn't saved. I gave Al an Are you Ready tract when I left Burke's Outlet. He said that he hoped to go to heaven. That night, I gave Tory a How Much Would You Bet Tract at Walmart.

Saturday Evangelism

Instead of weekly updates, I'm going to post on a daily basis for a while. As I was getting water from a machine at the Chevron in West Sterlington today, I gave a How Much Would You Bet? Tract to a man who was scratching off lottery tickets before he got into his vehicle. This was a perfect opportunity. I also gave one to the man that was asking him about the tickets.
Lance called me to say that he was able to pass out 38 tracts at a football jamboree. He has just joined the Bezeugen Tract Club and his tracts are almost gone!
At Super One, I traded a Bible Belt tract for a photography flier that a woman was giving out at the entrance.
I was able to slip a few tracts in beer cases that were waiting for them!
In the picture, I placed the tract over a check that a man won playing the lottery. This was at the Circle K where we stopped to get drinks.

Friday Night Evangelism - 8/17/12

We had a great time witnessing at the Tsunami and the Hookin' Bull this night! Bro. JT, Bro. Charles, Bro. Donnie, and I met up at Walmart around 9:30. We hit a Cracker Barrel convenience store first. Bro. Charles gave a tract to the cashier. Bro. Donnie put tracts in the free papers. Bro. JT and I put tracts in the Gospel tract slots of the beer cases.
When we got to the bars, I felt liberty to preach to those who were on the outside. Some started the usual mocking. After preaching, I tagged Bro. JT. He preached for a while. Bro. Charles and Bro. Donnie took a turn each at holding the cross. This was the
first time for Bro. Donnie (who is 71 years old) to do any street witnessing. Bro. Charles had went with us to the fireworks in July. We talked with a young man named Will who told his friends that he knew the Bible better than we did. He said that he "believed" , but he tried to justify his sin. He even claimed that he went to church on Wednesdays. When I started to tell him my testimony, he said that he remembered me telling him this about 6 months ago. I looked back on my prayer list that I have in my phone notes and saw where we had talked to a Will over a year ago. Bro. Charles went across the street to give a woman a tract. She had been listening to the preaching. She said that she was a Christian. Dustin told Bro. JT that he was an alcoholic. He admitted that he needed help. He asked us to pray with him there on the spot. Kenny told Bro. Charles and I that he was Job. He didn't mind cussing, saying that it was his freedom of speech. He was very drunk. Charles came over to ask Bro. Donnie about the cross. He said that he was working in Pine Bluff, Ark. and didn't have time for church. He seemed to be respectful toward us. As we left the street, the hecklers told us goodbye. We plan on going back on September the 7th and maybe the 8th also for a Alex Marley concert. When we got back to the Walmart parking lot, Bro. JT and I went in to put tracts in beer cases. I gave a tract to a man that hasn't been to church in a while. He said that he was thankful that I talked with him. It got him to thinking.

People aren't thinking about eternity. We have to bring it to the forefront of their minds so they can turn to the Lord with their heart. I talked to Brad at Walmart one day this week. I took him through 3 of the commandments. He said that he never thought about it like that. We have to talk with people to see where they are at. Then, we witness to them. We must challenge them to look to our Savior to be saved.
If you are in a comfort zone, step out and step up in obeying the great commission. Time is short, but eternity is long. Do you want anyone to suffer the torments of hell forever? Let's rescue the perishing!

The Bezeugen Tract Club

Join the Bezeugen Tract Club to receive 30 free Gospel tracts per month. Be encouraged to pass out at least 1 a day. I run out of mine before the month is up! In the picture is the tracts that came for the month of September. The tracts are great icebreakers for witnessing. You can place these anywhere for the lost to pick up and read. We have been placing these also in beer, water, and soda cases. ( Check out Carl's demonstration on the As You Go blog here - http://www.bezeugen.org/asyougo/?p=1463 )

When you give someone a tract, ask "Did you get one of these?" When you ask "Do you want one of these? or "Can I give you one these?", they might say no. Make them curious. Then, witness if possible. I like finding people at the gas pumps and any place that shopping has to be done. These tracts are easy to carry everywhere you go! Enroll today @ http://www.bezeugentractclub.org/?page_id=9

The lost are everywhere! Are you sharing your faith? If not, now is a good time to start!!! Let's win souls!!!
