How I Have Been Using The "Are You Lucky?" Tract

I have been placing this tract out at different places this last week and a half. Lottery display are always asking for tracts! The greeting card section in stores is a good place for them, too. I put one in a Woman's Day magazine that had the St. Patrick's Day theme. When I give one out, I say "Here's a Gospel tract for St. Patrick's Day. People automatically put their thumb on the clover. I have included pictures of places where I have left the tract. I hope you are encouraged!

Gospel Tract Spotlight: St. Patrick's Day Tract - Are You Lucky?

More opportunities to witness arise when holidays and celebrated days arrive. I ordered this tract to hand out before and around St. Patrick's day. Do you remember when going to school that people wore green on this day or they would get pinched if they didn't? A lot of bars serve green beer. Lets get green tracts to give to those that need to be saved. I plan on putting a few of these on lottery tables, also, since people try their "luck" with the numbers and scratch-offs. There are always doors to step in to witness! You can order these @ $3.50 for 100 from onemilliontracts.com
Don't be green with envy! Pass on the Are You Lucky? tract to someone before St. Patrick's day passes by!

Gospel Tract Spotlight - Hoppy Easter

Are you looking for a good tract for Easter evangelism? Check this one out from Bezeugen @ onemilliontracts.com
This one was in the March mailing of the the Bezeugen Tract Club. http://www.bezeugentractclub.org/?page_id=408

Hoppy Easter

It's not a misprint. It really says "Hoppy Easter" Why? At Easter time many people decorate eggs and hunt for them. Others stand in line at the mall to see the Easter bunny. Yet, Easter is not about eggs and bunnies. The true message of Easter is that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Christ had to die to pay for the sins of the whole world. Let's see if you needed him to die for you. The Bible says that it is appointed once to die and then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Christ calls hatred murder (Matthew 5:21). That's just three of the Ten Commandments. Would you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Because God is just, there must be a payment for your sin. Either you can pay by spending eternity in Hell or you can receive, by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ the free gift that God has for you (Mark 1:15, Ephesians 2:8-9). Instead of "Hoppy Easter", repent of your sin and put your trust in Jesus Christ. He will grant you eternal life. Happy Easter!

The Million Dollar Challenge

The million dollar bill Gospel tracts are some of my favorite to use. They are eye catching and received well by the lost. When giving them out, I look for an open door to witness. Some of the things I will say when engaging people are: "Here's your first million." or "Tell _________(name of business they work for) to give you a raise." or I will ask: "Did you get one of these?" or "Did you get your first million?" I have only had one reject in the last year. When I used the word "Gospel", he wasn't interested anymore. He may have had a bad experience.
This morning in Sunday School, I am going to challenge my teenage class to hand out at least one million dollar bill Gospel tract. They must hand it to some one. One of my students is already a member of the Bezuegen Tract Club. You can order these at onemilliontracts.comlivingwaters.com, and TractPlanet.com.
One million tracts have George

Washington , Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan millions.
Living Waters' has Rutherford Hayes on theirs. They also have the trillion with Abraham Lincoln on the front.

I challenge you to give out at least one of these if you have never used the million dollar bill tract. It will help you get over the fear of witnessing. It will encourage you to want to witness more. It will help you to talk to others that are of different religions. We must challenge them to seek the truth. I gave one to a Hindu at the mall on Friday night. I have put these in the hands of Muslims. A lot of people will not talk to someone about their beliefs or Jesus. They will read a tract, though. Pray that God will open up their eyes when reading a tract.
Will you take the million dollar challenge?

Friday Night At The Mall - Feb. 22, 2013

My family and I went to the mall tonight after work. The first stop was Burlington Coat Factory, where I gave Nathan a Man Card tract. He asked for another to give to his brother. It's easy to hand out the new texting tract since just about everyone does text messaging. I gave out around 12 of these tonight. A few recipients were on there phones! (Check out the picture from the Best Buy mobile store!) I kept some million dollar bill tracts (from onemilliontracts.com) in my front shirt pocket. I believe the whole crew from Raising Cane's took one when the cashier asked about them. When Chris took one, he talked about wanting to be with his deceased grand-parents in Heaven. I gave a Trivia Del Futbol tract to Santos, who said that he wasn't a Christian. I left several tracts on the benches, counters, and at the blood pressure machine. I love going to the mall!

Mardi Gras Parade - West Monroe, La. - Feb. 2, 2013

I haven't had time to post about this until now. We just finished a three week revival where people received help from the Lord . I met up with Bro. JT and Bro. Gary around 5:30 on this Sat. evening on the West Monroe side where it started. They had already witnessed to a man by the name of Mike. Before going to the parade, a woman came toward us that was stumbling. She had been drinking already. We gave her a couple of tracts to read later. She asked us where the levy was. We told her to go up the street and turn left , but she kept going straight into a bad area of town. We called the police to let them know.
We met Bro. Charles before the parade began. People were partying at a couple of bars that were near the parade route. This is not as big as the parade in New Orleans, but it grows every year. We got to give out several tracts before it began.
The parade lasted for about an hour and a half. We stood on a corner where people were continually moving. I saw several people that I knew from West Monroe and school. We gave out about 600 - 700 tracts and coins. Please pray that souls will be saved through these efforts.

Evangelism Event - Mardi Gras Parade In Monroe, La. / February 2, 2013

Mardi Gras is a big celebration in Louisiana. The Monroe parade (in North East Louisiana) is not as big as the New Orleans parade, but it seems to grow in attendance every year. We haven't evangelized this parade in a long time. We went several years ago, giving out tracts and witnessing. After the parade, everyone was drinking. We are anticipating some divine appointments this year. The parade starts at 6:00 on February the 2nd. Please pray for everyone that is going with us this year. The Lord has placed us with some great soul-winners in this last year. He answers prayer!
If you are in the area and want to join us for this event, please send me an email at scottanddarnell@gmail.com.
Are you reaching out to the lost around you today?

Gospel Tract Spotlight - The Ronald Reagan Quote Tract

Story of the Ronald Reagan quote tract (as found on The Bezeugen Tract Club site)

January 22 is the 40th anniversary of Roe v Wade, the case that legalized abortion in the United States. We don't want to "celebrate" the anniversary per se, but rather use it as a segway to the Gospel. I hand people this tract and ask them what they think of the quote. Most say something like "that's interesting." Other times I'll hand someone the tract and ask them who the guy is in the picture. Most will say Ronald Reagan correctly. Then when I ask them who Ronald Reagan was, a smaller portion identify him as the 44th President of the United States. Either way, it functions as a segway to the gospel. Point people to the180movie.com site on the back as well to see a Gospel presentation and a thought provoking message about abortion.

We hope and pray that the Ronald Reagan quote tractwill bring awareness to the national sin of abortion. Even more than that, we pray that it will bring people to repent of their own personal sin and believe the Gospel!

Here is the content on the tract:

God knows each of us before we are conceived (Jeremiah 1:5). He forms us in our mother's womb (Psalm 139:13). God tells us that life is precious by saying, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13) and then raises the standard to "Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer" (1 John 3:15). God's punishment for murder is eternity in Hell (Revelation 21:8). It is appointed once for man to die and then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Ever hated someone? Lied? Stolen? Lusted? Will God find you innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? God does not want you to go to Hell (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9). Two thousand years ago, God sent His only son Jesus to earth to save you from your sin (John 3:16, 1 John 2:2). Jesus, being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life and fulfilled the Law. Jesus willingly died on the cross to pay for your sin. Three days later Jesus rose from the grave defeating sin and death. Repent (turn away from your sin) and put your trust in Jesus Christ alone (Mark 1:15). Then God will forgive all your sins and give you eternal life.www.180movie.com www.AfterLifeCatalog.com 80-BEZEUGEN

Happy New Year!

Another year has come and gone. I pray that you accomplished everything you wanted to in this last year. Now, we are facing a new one with new opportunities. A few of my resolutions are: Read the Bible through again (using the Prof. Grant Horner's Bible Reading System ), pray earlier in the morning, engage more people in conversations while witnessing, give out more tracts, encourage others to be a bold witness, and memorise more scripture.
I am re-posting my testimony because it was twenty years ago on New Year's Eve that I had the accident that led me to getting saved. I have shared this with several over the weekend and tonight at Walmart.
Twenty years ago, I was involved in the party scene. I thought I was living the good life. I had moved to Shreveport to manage the GNC at Southpark Mall. I had just bought a 1992 Dodge Sport. I was twenty-three at this time. Before this,I managed the GNC at Pecanland Mall in Monroe. In November, my boss asked me if I could transfer to the Shreveport store. I eagerly told him that I could. I was wanting to go up in the company.
I had met a young woman at one of the clubs that I hung out with my friend, Al. We started dating before I moved. She lived in Ruston. I stopped in see her one day when I was going back to West Monroe to visit. She broke up with me that day. The day before New Year's Eve, she called me to ask us to hold a place for her at the club where we would be at in Monroe. I was going to show her that I could be with someone else! We all got to the bar that night with partying on our minds. I started drinking mixed drinks. Sometime after midnight, I blacked-out. I remember just bits and pieces of what was to happen after that. I remember walking out to my truck. After that, I remember shutting the passenger door to the truck. Then, I was walking on the other side of the bridge down Trenton Street in West Monroe. Then, I was at the door of Al's apartment. I woke up at 10:00 on New Year's Day. I told Al that we needed to find my truck. I didn't know where it was! We drove around looking for it in West Monroe and Monroe. I finally called The Monroe Police Department to ask if they had towed the truck. The woman on the line told me that it had been towed to Master's Auto Service in Monroe. I went to see it there. The hood and front was crushed in the middle. The owner of the towing company told me that I was fortunate to be alive. I had hit a utility pole on the corner of Pine and Walnut, which was several blocks from the club. The police had pulled some of my hair from the windshield where I had hit with my head. I had walked about two miles from where I had wrecked. The officer that worked the accident called me at midnight on January 1st to ask me about what had happened. I lied about what I did, but they knew that I had been drinking. I had to go back to Shreveport without transportation. Over the next several months I depended on my parents to come to bring me back home on most weekends. I walked to work sometimes and got a taxi at other times. One day at work, I was talking with a regular customer about some of our products. She and her husband worked for the Shreveport Police Department. We ended up talking about church and Jesus. She asked where I went to church. I told her that I was trying to go back to church. She said "You're not doing anything! You better come back to Jesus now!"
There had been others who had witnessed to me before, but her words made me to think. I didn't write the exact date down, but around March the 15th I repented of my sins, asked for forgiveness, and was saved at my apartment in Kingston Village Apartments on Kingston Road! Jesus came into my life! What a change! I got born-again! I told everyone what had happened to me! I couldn't go back to the clubs anymore! I couldn't listen to the same music anymore! I didn't have the desire to drink anymore! I was a changed man! I was able to move back home and get my old job back in April. I started passing out tracts. I went to church whenever I could. I told my testimony everywhere I went. I am still telling it today. I am thankful for every opportunity to share my faith. Let's tell our testimony to those that need to hear it!
