Evangelism Event - Mardi Gras Parade In Monroe, La. / February 2, 2013

Mardi Gras is a big celebration in Louisiana. The Monroe parade (in North East Louisiana) is not as big as the New Orleans parade, but it seems to grow in attendance every year. We haven't evangelized this parade in a long time. We went several years ago, giving out tracts and witnessing. After the parade, everyone was drinking. We are anticipating some divine appointments this year. The parade starts at 6:00 on February the 2nd. Please pray for everyone that is going with us this year. The Lord has placed us with some great soul-winners in this last year. He answers prayer!

What Happens After Yolo?

YOLO - You Only Live Once. This is said by people everyday. It is tweeted with a hashtag on Twitter (#YOLO). It is actually stated in scripture: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment; - Hebrews 9:27. What happens after you live once? There are two places mankind will live for eternity. Let's see where you will live in eternity according to God's standards, The Ten Commandments. Have you ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Jesus calls hatred murder (Matthew 5:22)! Ever used God’s name carelessly? That is blasphemy and is a very serious offense (Exodus 20:7). Will you be be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? God does not want you to go to Hell (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9). Two thousand years ago, God sent His only son Jesus Christ to earth. Jesus being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the Law and then willingly became the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. He died on a cross to pay for your sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death and the devil. God “commands all people everywhere to repent” because “He has set a day when He will judge the world” (Acts 17:30-31). If you repent and believe the Gospel, then God will forgive all your sin and give you eternal life (Mark 1:15, John 3:36).

After YOLO, you will live again!

YOLO - Sólo se vive una vez. Esto es dicho por la gente todos los días. Se tuiteó con un hashtag en Twitter (#YOLO). Jesús siendo plenamente Dios y plenamente hombre, vivió una vida perfecta, cumplió la Ley y luego voluntariamente se convirtió en el sacrificio perfecto por el pecado de todo el mundo. Él murió en una cruz para pagar por nuestros pecados (1 Jn 2, 2). Jesús resucitó de entre los muertos, venciendo el pecado, la muerte y el diablo. Dios "manda a todos, en todas partes, que se arrepientan", porque "Él ha fijado un día en el cual juzgará al mundo" (Hechos 17: 30-31). Si usted se arrepiente y cree el Evangelio, Dios perdonará todos sus pecados y darle vida eterna (Marcos 1:15, Juan 3:36) YOLO, entonces la eternidad.
