The Story Of The John 3:16 Tract

John 3:16 is perhaps the most widely known Bible verse for Christians and non-Christians alike. It is the simplicity of the Gospel in a single verse. What is the verse? And more importantly, what does it mean? We made this Gospel tract so that engaging people could be as easy as asking, “do you know John 3:16?” and seeing what they say. Either way whether they know it or not it is an opportunity to share with them what it means.

We pray that the John 3:16 Gospel tract will lead to many conversations about Jesus and eternal life only found through him!

"The End" Is Here!

The July mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club features a new tract called The End. I gave the idea to Carl one Sunday evening. He photo shopped the front and came up with an eye-catching design. Check out this video that describes this tract:

Here is the content on the back:

The End. These words appear at the end of a story. There is a lot of talk about these days being "the end" times. If your life would end today, where would you be in eternity? The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Let's see how you will do in the end based on the Ten Commandments. Have you ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Jesus calls hatred murder (Matthew 5:22)! Ever used God’s name carelessly? That is blasphemy and is a very serious offense (Exodus 20:7). Will you be bbfinnocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? God does not want you to go to Hell (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9). Two thousand years ago, God sent His only son Jesus Christ to earth. Jesus being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the Law and then willingly became the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. He died on a cross to pay for your sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death and the devil. God “commands all people everywhere to repent” because “He has set a day when He will judge the world”  (Acts 17:30-31). If you repent and believe the Gospel, then God will forgive all your sin and give you eternal life (Mark 1:15, John 3:36).

Friday Night Witnessing - June 13, 2014

We had an interesting time on street ministry last night. We arrived at the bar a little after 10:00. A few tracts were rejected at first. Bro. Charles and I took a shift each with the cross. I had put the name of Jesus on the front. The business manager came out and talked with us without incident. Bro. Gary talked with a taxi driver for a few minutes. I talked to a young man that had played a set at the bar. He said that he played in clubs and played in church on Sunday as a hired musician. He obviously isn't in it for ministry, but for the money. While Bro. JJ was preaching, the bar manager approached us. He said that he didn't want us yelling at his customers. He called the police. This is the first time that the police have been called at this bar. Six police showed up to handle the complaint. They said that we were on private property across from the bar. We have always understood that we had about a three foot right away near the street. We will check out every thing before we go back. We also will record what we say next time in case they falsely accuse us for saying something that we didn't. We aren't like the "shock and awe" guys who get rough with the people. The police stayed for thirty minutes after they talked with us. I gave out 5 or 6 tracts while they were there. Prayerfully, we will have more one on ones next time. Next month, we are gong to the local Fourth of July Fireworks display. This is mainly a tract event with one on ones.

Happy Flag Day!

Here is a good tract for this day!

America is a wonderful country, but what does it mean to be a good American? Is it someone who loves baseball? Football? Beer? How about this question, are you a good person? The Bible says in Proverbs 20:6 "Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness." Let's see if you qualify as being a good person. Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything, irrespective of its value? Jesus said, "I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). Have you ever looked at someone with lust? The Bible says that if someone hates another person they are a murderer (I John 3:15). Have you ever hated anyone? If you have answered "Yes" to the previous questions, then you have admitted that you are a liar, a thief, an adulterer and a murderer and we've only looked at 4 of the 10 Commandments. If God were to judge you by this standard would you be innocent or guilty? You know you are guilty and deserving of an eternity in Hell. Do you still think you are a good person or do you now understand that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23, I John 3:4) and deserve the wrath of God? Jesus Christ came to earth and died a criminal's death not because He had broken the Law, but because we had. Romans 5:8 "God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." What should you do? Repent, turn from your sins and put your complete faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. For more information please visit www.YouGotOurTract.com
