May 21 and The Rapture

Matthew 24:36,37 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Harold Camping of Family Radio is predicting that there is going to be a giant earthquake take place on May 21, making the earth inhabitable. There will be a rapture of God's chosen, also.
One follower haa spent $140,000 on signs that promote the predicted date. Mr. Camping predicted that the world was going to end in 1994. Have you heard of "88 reasons in 88"? I'm glad the Lord didn't return then. I wasn't saved ! We do not know the exact date, but we do know that He is coming soon. Date setters have come and gone, but only the Father knows, as was stated in our text. What does this mean in soul-winning ? It means we have to work for the Lord with such an urgency in these last days. We have to expect that His coming is soon ! Jesus said in John 9:4 " I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work. Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:1,2 : " But of the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night."
We believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. When the rapture takes place, the 7 year tribulation period will begin. I know that there are those who believe mid and post. Someone posted a comment that led to a channel that haa a video that promotes a post trib view. You can believe that if you want, but I believe that the bride of Christ is not going to take a beating before the wedding ! Sure, we may have to go through some things before the rapture, but we are not going through the great tribulation. We are to be looking up for our redemption draweth nigh !
We are to work the fields of souls, telling of His soon return ! May 21 may come and go, but that don't change the fact that Jesus is still coming !!!

  2. I suggest studying the work of Voice of the Marytyrs. Christians are being persecuted around the world. In Africa by the Muslims, in China by the government and other places. We should support them in prayer, and in any other way we can. This is called persecution. The church has been historically persecuted from the beginning in Rome, by Nero, by the Vatican for centuries, people were burned and buried alive with their Bibles - and still are today. The Holy Bible is illegal in 53 countries. It is estimated that the average earthly life span of a Christian in North Korea is 3 months.

This does not make the bride too 'bloody' or 'beaten'. It makes her persecuted, which Jesus said would happen. The Lord will come as a thief in the night, but the true church will not see it as a 'thief', because she will be watching and waiting with her lamps trimmed...

I Thess 5 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF.

Only the wicked world should be surprised by His coming "as a thief in the night". Because they will be drunk and beating the servants, and surprised by his coming. The wise virgins will not be surprised. That is how the passage is really worded, although it is usually taken so out of context, that is how we are used to hearing it.

I Thess 5 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF.

(Although, noone knows the exact time, except the Father in heaven.)

Keep your knees on the floor, your nose in the Book, your eyes toward heaven. Brethren everywhere, stay on guard!

  3. http://bible-truth.org/Pre-Wrath.html Here its a pretty good refutation of the pre-wrath doctrine.

  4. There is a difference between the tribulation and persecution. Persecution stems from man's wrath. The Tribulation stems from God's.

  5. Pretrib comes up immediately when you begin to talk of any hardship coming to America. Another depression, persecution, ANYTHING. That is when you hear most Christians immediately say 'oh we'll be out of here before that. God's gonna take care of us'. What does that sound like to unbelievers? Not the church of Acts, but fairytale-ism. That is the general attitude I have noticed, and my biggest complaint of that doctrine. The same things were being said in Hitlers time across Europe, don't worry about Hitler, the rapture's coming. Most people dont' know that either.

I agree the church will be spared of God's wrath, not antichrists beheadings or persecution, however. That is taught too flipantly by most.

Rev 13:6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, AND TO OVERCOME THEM: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (What saints if theyre all raptured)

It is a common teaching that all of the tribulation period is all the wrath of God ONLY, and that even the Christians that the antichrist beheads will suffer the boils, and other disasters that will come.

Rev 6:9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet FOR A LITTLE SEASON, until their FELLOWSERVANTS ALSO, AND THEIR BRETHREN, that should be KILLED AS THEY WERE, SHOULD BE FULFILLED.

This is that little season that most people are not preparing for, because of pretrib teaching. Even if the rapture is not post trib, or not even post antichrist, the spirit of that teaching is sadly often one of unpreparedness. And much much more. Enough to not ignore...

Even if noone heeds the warning that pretrib may be taught by the majority with an agenda, it is still the job of those who believe different to say so, to be responsible. And in case the time comes when people will be surprised the rapture has not arrived yet, they can always remember 'those unlearned crazy silly people' 'rolling eyes as they say it' who were trying to say differently. Hmmmm, maybe there was something to it after all.

89.5 FM for good old time hymns. Just heard I'd rather have Jesus, awesome! And I'm starting a new facebook page to connect to a new youtube channel, just for teaching purposes! The teaching is mostly about satanic agenda in media/education/entertainment industry to encourage folks of WHY we really should draw lines of true holiness. We really do have an enemy on our doorstep if we are not on guard. Bout time I got around to it...

  6. I am not an escapist. If I must suffer for the sake of Christ, let it be. I am aware of what is going on in the world. I am aware of what is going on in the church world. I know that the spirit of anti-christ doth already work. II Peter 3
This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

    And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

  7. The tribulation has nothing to do with persecution on America. You can't say every one who believes pre - trib has that mentality.

  8. I advise you to study who the four and twenty elders are. 1) They are redeemed by His Blood. 2) They cast their crowns before Him. So we kniw they are believers. You may say that they are the saints thst have already died but here is the kicker: they HAVE CROWNS. That means they have been rewarded. If they have been rewarfed tbat means they have been to the Judgment Seat of Christ. THAT SAYS A WHOLE LOT! That events takes place directly after the rapture. And they just happen to be mentioned by the tribulation is described. They are in heaven while it takes place!

  9. I don't know who you've been talking you but it hadn't been me. Lol Havr you talked to the majority of pre-trib believers? (not being smart alec, just making a point)

  10. Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

  11. I am very happy to see that yall arent being escapist, and honestly in my 33 short years of fellowship with believers, from many different backgrounds, the overwhelming majority do have the escapist attitude. Very very honestly.

I challenge you to do a little experiment yourselves if you wonder, you and anyone reading. Over the next several months, if you find yourself talking to a believer, especially one you havent met before, who is outside of your usual world of people that you already know how they think, ask them if they think it is possible that the dollar may crash in our near future due to political and global changes. Talk about any preparations they may be making for that. Start talking about what it was like in the last great depression. See how quickly the rapture comes up. Or you can talk about laws changing, and America becoming more socialist. Talk about folks going to jail for preaching the Word, and is the local church ready to bind together to help the families who are stranded by these circumstances. You will notice that the more 'real world' and 'rubber meets the road' your talk becomes, the faster the rapture will be mentioned. Try it and see.

Escapism is an error I see in teaching, even if pretrib were correct. So I am happy yall see a problem with that too. I have heard yall preach before, and I believe you are willing to go to jail or whatever it takes to spread the Gospel, so I encourage you to remind others, that may be coming. Bc I believe most teachers/preachers in America are not like that. And once you say something like that, watch out, the next word from their mouth will be 'rapture'. So please please inform people that hard times may come before the tribulation, no matter how many times you hear 'rapture'. I think as a teacher, the blindess that comes from error bothers me in a unique way, so pardon me if I go on and on...

@ Luke 21:36, I see that could still be prewrath rapture?

Ill try to remember to keep yall updated with my latest teaching channels, and look forward to your next post.

  12. We appreciate the comments, but we have went way off the subject of our blog. We are not going to change each others beliefs on doctrine. We want to encourage others to get out to win souls. The time is short . The hour is urgent. I pray that you are doing your best to witness. The world needs to see a church on fire, burning with a compassion that won't stop.Thanks. Happy soul-winning !
