Gospel Tract Spotlight: Name 10 Things On Your Bucket List

The phrase "kick the bucket" means to die. 150,000 people "kick the bucket" everyday. This tract, "Name 10 Things On Your Bucket List", was in June's Bezeugen tract club mailing. It talks about things people may want to do before they die. The #1 thing they need to do is to repent and put their trust in Christ! When I hand this one out, I say "This talks about things that you may want to do before you kick the bucket." I gave one to Chris last night at the Chevron. After taking him through the law, he said that he would probably go to hell. I pray that Chris has prayed already! Let's get the Gospel to the lost before they "kick the bucket"!

Some popular choices are: skydive, trip around the world, run a marathon, take up a martial art, learn to dance, drive a race car, climb Mt. Jesus, being fully God and fully man became the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. He lived a perfect life, fulfilled God's law, died on the cross then rose from the dead. The Bible says that if you will repent (turn from sin) and believe Christ alone paid your punishment, you will have eternal life. What Happens After Yolo?

YOLO - You Only Live Once. This is said by people everyday. It is tweeted with a hashtag on Twitter (#YOLO). It is actually stated in scripture: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment; - Hebrews 9:27. What happens after you live once? There are two places mankind will live for eternity. Let's see where you will live in eternity according to God's standards, The Ten Commandments. Have you ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Jesus calls hatred murder (Matthew 5:22)! Ever used God’s name carelessly? That is blasphemy and is a very serious offense (Exodus 20:7). Will you be be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? God does not want you to go to Hell (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9). Two thousand years ago, God sent His only son Jesus Christ to earth. Jesus being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the Law and then willingly became the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. He died on a cross to pay for your sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death and the devil. God “commands all people everywhere to repent” because “He has set a day when He will judge the world” (Acts 17:30-31). If you repent and believe the Gospel, then God will forgive all your sin and give you eternal life (Mark 1:15, John 3:36).

Él murió en una cruz para pagar por nuestros pecados (1 Jn 2, 2). Jesús resucitó de entre los muertos, venciendo el pecado, la muerte y el diablo. Dios "manda a todos, en todas partes, que se arrepientan", porque "Él ha fijado un día en el cual juzgará al mundo" (Hechos 17: 30-31). Si usted se arrepiente y cree el Evangelio, Dios perdonará todos sus pecados y darle vida eterna (Marcos 1:15, Juan 3:36) YOLO, entonces la eternidad.
