Calling All Who Have Committed To Share The Gospel Everyday!

August was the last time we  did an Everyday Club report. We are excited to bring it back to the As You Go blog and invite people to comment about their experiences in sharing the gospel at the end of every month. We now have the  Everyday Club Facebook Page   So, you can interact with the club here and there!  You can set goals on how often you want to share your faith and let us know if you reach those goals at the end of the month. If you are not in the Bezeugen Tract club, click here to receive 30 free gospel tracts every month. To be in the Everyday Club, the minimal requirement is to commit to giving out at least one tract a day. If you have ever commented here before, please let us know how you have been doing in sharing your faith for the last few months. If you are new to the Everyday Club, let us know who you are. Read about how the Everyday Club began here

The next posting will be at the beginning of March! Blessings as you share your faith.... As You Go!

The Christian's "Taste Berry"

“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Psalms 34:8

It is said that in Africa there is a fruit called the "taste berry," because it changes a person's tastes so that everything eaten tastes sweet and pleasant. Sour fruit, even if eaten several hours after the "taste berry," become sweet and delicious.

Gratitude is the "taste berry" of Christianity, and when our hearts are filled with gratitude, nothing that God sends us seems too unpleasant to us.

Sorrowing heart, sweeten your grief with gratitude. Burdened soul, lighten your burden by singing God's praises. Disappointed one, dispel your loneliness by making other grateful. Sick one, grow strong in soul, thanking God that He loves you enough to chasten you.

Keep the "taste berry" of gratitude in your hearts, and it will do for you what the "taste berry" of Africa does for the African. - The Expositor

Saturday Witnessing - Feb.13, 2016

I had a great day of witnessing by giving out tracts at the mall, Super One, and Walmart. I met today's #DailyTractChallenge at Super One by giving out 5 tracts in the flower section. I gave out several of the May The Lord Be With You tracts and Yolo tracts in Burlingtons. I slipped  a few May The Lord Be With You tracts into Star Wars bags there. I met Hosea when I gave him a tract. He says that his father-in-law is starting a Spanish church in a nearby city. He knows a minister that I know. I took my wife to Olive Garden where I gave a Thank You tract to Mario, our server. It was busy at Walmart with everyone buying for Valentine's Day. I probably gave out 15-20 tracts there. John took the Camo Card in electronics. He was wearing a camo shirt.  On the grocery side, I gave a tract to Daniel and his friend. Daniel asked if it was about church. I told him that I was a domestic missionary and that I did this everywhere I go. He said that he was going to Heaven. He didn't know what to say when I asked how he was going to get into Heaven when he stood before God. He said that he didn't know. Then, in the clothes section, I gave a  Yolo tract to Danny.

Wednesday Night Witnessing

I took several tracts and door hangers to jail service tonight. Afterwards, I stopped at a Walmart to pick up some items. I met today's daily tract  challenge by leaving a tract on a Valentine's Day gift display. As I was leaving, I took my cart to the Elisha, who was working in the parking lot. I asked him if he were to die and stand before God, why would  He let him into Heaven.  He said that he was a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 spiritually. He took the Camo Card.

Witnessing At Walmart - Feb. 9, 2016

I'm I can usually get out at least 5 - 10 tracts easily on one trip to a store. Last night at a neighborhood Walmart, I gave out several May The Lord Be With You tracts. Wayne took one on the bread isle. He said that he was new to the area and looking for a church. Quadre, an employee, took one in the parking lot. I gave a Yolo tract to Jennifer, the cashier. A man who I saw in the store took one when I was returning my cart. I also left one at the Redbox.

Most people will take a tract. If someone doesn't take one, keep on going to the next one. I have a rule: for every reject, there are 50 more around the corner who will take one!

Be Encouraged

We don't share our faith because we have to. We share our faith because we get to. It's a privilege to share the gospel with others. As a matter fact, it's our responsibility. I get joy spreading the Gospel and yes, sometimes we are rejected. God did not say that we would not face rejection or persecution. Jesus said "“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:10 Don't be surprised when persecution happens. Rejoice, even though our hearts break because of that lost soul. 1 John 4:17 says “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
In the world's eyes, we are foolish. God has given us this great commission to reach out to them, but he has given us the graced for when they don't want what we have. So many need the Lord. Let's keep on reaching out till He calls us home. Be encouraged! He hears our prayers and will give us souls for His kingdom!

Witnessing With The Football Trivia Tract

I gave out several of these at Walmart, Taco Bell, and a strip mall in Bastrop, La. today. A lot of people have the Super Bowl on their mind this weekend. We talked to Lamont at Taco Bell. Cornelius and two other men took tracts, too. I gave one to Chris in Walmart. He wasn't
sure that he was saved. Cortell took one at the pharmacy.
